For many years, I was fascinated by the photo processes of the dark room experiment. In this new sound installation, I connected my sound works with photography for the first time bringing analogue process that talked of time and age in the Fischhaus.

The idea comes from the repatriation scheme by Japan and North Korean government that shipped approximately 100,000 Korean immigrants and their families (some Japanese) to North Korea most of whom never came out of the country since.

The repeated image on the wall is my father’s hand, processed in different ways with chemicals, light and time that they would fade away in unknown colours in the future.
