With a strong Belief in nature, earth, I began a new life in the middle of nowhere, on top of a beautiful hill in
Japan as an artist, as a mother of two. Four years passed and the earthquake hit us.
Without a tool of electricity, fuel, water, our life fell into such chaos and primitive. Having seen total collapse of
houses, shelters, we evacuated from our beloved village where lies only 50-60 kilometers away from the vicious
nuclear power station of Fukushima.

We lost the house that is not lost, lay down as it was before.
Grass grows. Tulips blossom. Magnolia in rain. Persimmons ready.
Just uncleanable dusts of radiation sway around in the air unseen.
I began learning origami on the way of refuge with my kids. An art of papers folded into create new worlds. We
fold 1000 cranes when something to pray in Japanese tradition. Folding is like a hope. Folding often make humans
stop conversations as to concentrate in themselves. On the contrary, it also makes them begin into the talk of
deep subconscious thoughts.

Japan has two 0 points.

One is of those who are fighting to revive their lives and towns that were washed away by tsunami. Those who
lost relatives and friends, physical belongings are now in union to move on. forward to the future.
The other, as a matter of fact worse, is of those who were forced to evacuate all of sudden by TEPCO. They still
have no insurance, no proper space to settle, no hope, no definition of danger. The government began letting
them go back home yet under very unbearable instructions. One must wear a total cover of white-catsuit and is
limited to stay in own house no more than 2 hours. No toilets and chatting is allowed. Pets and farm animals are
not allowed to evacuate nor to be touched.

BUT we all must begin folding.
Individually and together.
For the future of positive goal, non-destructive life in peace that comes after understanding.
It is like an origami sheet to become something new. The very strong metaphor to the issue.
The performance shows the movie, fold from 0. including the origami process and two clips of reality from
Japan. - Numbered coffins buried (normally cremated in Japan) + Inhibited my own house.

I would like to ask the audience to fold origami into shapes before the show. - make balloons
futuristic energy cells that will produce positive energy for living without causing any more destruction.
I place them at where I play so as to show the human action. We create new methods, cells without depending
on. Cells that even will win over the contamination. Cells that even will revive the world of nature. Cells that will
save the children radiated even now.
